Special Collection
Collections of these selected wines are made from grapes grown on special fields in Tokaj and Eastern Slovakia. Wines are fresh and fully remind flavour of the cultivars they have been made from.
Wines from these collections are designated for immediate distribution to final customers and to selected gastronomical facilities. They are not imported to retail networks.
Queen Elizabeth Wine, medium dry, Special Collection2009 – another year of our cuvee from Tokaj cultivars Furmint, Lipovina and Yellow Muscat in the perfect performance. This wine was processed gently by latest technologies. Almost one year of ageing in barrels has given a mild wooden bouquet to this wine. A decent acids keeps it in a good condition for long time.
Yellow muskat, selection of grape berries, white, medium sweet, Special Collection 2009 – second harvest from the small vineyard. A wine with decent aroma of citrus peel, supported by pure natural sugar. Excellent with ripe cheeses with mould and sponge cakes.
Red traminer, selection of grapes, medium sweet, Special Collection 2009 – spicy and enchanting wine with fine acidity, supported only with natural sugar. This wine together with Asian cuisine or pears topped with caramelised honey creates a perfect union. You can simply enjoy this wine with a Romeo & Julieta Cigar.
Welsh riesling, selection of grapes, medium dry, Special Collection 2009 – pleasant, fresh wine full of mineral tones and citrus flavours. Grapes come from the northest parts of Slovakia, situated at the foot of Mountain range Vihorlat. It is an excellent accompaniment to fine patés and light chicken salads.
White Rulander, selection of grapes, medium dry, Special Collection 2009 – medium dry White Rulander from village Poruba pod Vihorlatom delights the consumer with its tender content of residual sugars. It has round taste which makes it easy to drink. We recommend cooling it to 10–12°C.
Hanko´s Wine 2009 – medium sweet. This precious cuvee was made of grapes from the vineyard of Mr Jozef Hanko, the owner of one of the best tracts in Slovakia. Mr Hanko had planted this vineyard in the 1947, but 16th September was 1949 was condemned of felony in treason and imprisoned. Then he spent 11 long years od hard conditions in uranium mines. After many years, Mr Hanko got his beloved vineyard back in restitution. Since the year 2000 our company rented the vineyard and in the year 2005, right before Mr. Hanko´s death, we bought it. Every single year we pay homage and praise the pleasing grapes that the vineyard gives us. Its wine has soft tobacco tones and touch of dark chocolate.
Furmint, Selection of grapes, medium dry, Special Collection 2010 – classic Tokaj cultivar, processed by latest technologies including directed fermetation. Highly extracive wine full of fruity flavours with natural residual sugar. Smooth, excellent for meeting with friends.
Furmint Sur lie, late harvest 2010 – medium sweet. The Sur lie method is a method, when wine ripes on the yeasts, stirred gently, for the period of three months. It gives complexity and fullness to the wine. We discovered, that for this kind of processing this basic Tokaj cultivar is the most suitable. Please try… The residual sugar is purely natural.
Lipovina, late harvest 2010 – medium sweet. This exquisite wine is made of grapes grown on one of our best tracts of Slovak Tokaj. It is extremely juicy and aromatic, which is not very typical feature of the Lipovina cultivar. The wine is full of fruit and lust for life and spreads it all over itself. Residual sugar is of natural origin and low alcohol volume lets you enjoy this wine for long hours. Enjoy!
Lipovina Natur, selection of grapes 2010 – medium dry. Another year of Lipovina from our vineyard treated only with pure nature products like fennel oil, marinated herbs and natural substance for the support of immune system of the cultivar. Feel free and drink TO HEALTH, this wine will definitely not disappoint you!
Devín, selection of grapes 2010 – medium dry. Mild bouquet reminds of wine his „father Tramin“, a cultivar, from which was this grape variety cultivated. Soft breath of white rose is here intertwined with lime tones. Try and enjoy…
